Bethlehem was dispatched for an late night structure fire on Carmel Hill Rd North upon arrival they found two well involved structures on a deep inset property. The well involved buildings appeared to be a large dwelling and a barn type storage building. Companies layed in approximately 600 feet of LDH to supply the scene and a water supply was established by Woodbury Fire at the road end of the driveway. A fill site was establbished at a fire pond near the intersection of Wood Creek Rd to refill the tanker shuttle operation. Mutual aid tankers and engines from Morris,Bantam, Woodbury, and Washington were brought to the scene and an engine from Watertown fire provided station coverage. Operations were initially defensive as the well involved structures had collapsed leaving little to save with suppression efforts, once an adequate water supply was established the fire was knocked down. The where abouts and condition of any occupants was initially unknown. Fire investigators were on scene from the Town Fire Marshal's office to start the process of determining the details and cause of the fire.
