Derby Volunteer Fire
Structure Fire Occupied Dwelling 228 Derby Ave 5/09/13
Derby Fire arrived to heavy fire showing from the second floor of a dwelling on Derby Ave. With the help of volunteers from Shelton and Ansonia they were able to stop the fire before it engulfed the whole structure. Heavy damage was sustained to the second floor and attic area and several residents had to find alternative housing.
