Box Alarm Two Vacant Dwellings Maddeline at Queen 04/04/11

Another early morning box for the DFD. As we responded to the scene radio traffic of a dwelling going and with spread to the exposure next door. As the first due engine dropped their bundle and reversed out to the nearest hydrant the second due engine prepared to dump their monitor. By te time we arrived the fire was all but knocked down. There was still fire showing from the rear of the building of origin but it was brought under control several minutes later and the crews would remain for an extended period overhauling both structures.
