2 Alarm Fire Multiple Occupied Dwelling 1/10/10

Pick up shots after New Britain Fire extingished a two alarm blaze on Silver St. With heavy fire burning through the roof of the three story structure crew were evacuated from the building and an external defense operation including putting the city's tower ladder into service was used to bring the fire under control after about 40 minutes. The building sustaied heavy fire damage to the third floor as well was water and smoke damage to the 2 lower floors. Several people were displaced by the fire.
