Working Structure Fire 692 West St 07/06/12

Southington Fire arrived to find a heavy smoke condition eminating from the basement of Macks on West Restaurant. Crews reported a basement fire which was running the underside of the floor above. Mutual aid from Cheshire,Plantsville, and Wolcott responded for on scene manpower and station coverage. The fire was knocked down in about 20 minutes but vetilation and overhaul would be extended due to the high temperatures both inside and outside of the structure.
