Southbury Battles a fire in the Heritage Village Community. An active adult community set on 1000 acres and containing over 2000 condominium units.The fire that started in one of a 5 unit buidings quickly extended inti the attic space and spread through the whole building. Fire fighter and EMS from Woodbury,Roxbury,Sandy Hook ,Middlebury, and Oxford provided mutual aid fighting the fire on an extremely hot and humid night. The building was badly damage displacing 10-15 occupants and sending two victims to the hospital.
