As Waterbury Fire was working to bring another structure fire in an occupied dwelling at the 500 block of Baldwin St reports started pouring in for another structure fire at the corner of Baldwin and Martin St. First arriving companies found heavy fire showing from the third floor of a vacant boarded structure at the location. As the arriving engines stretched in to secure a water supply Truck 2 got it's tower set up at the front of the building. With heavy fire pushing through the roof interior companies were ordered to pull back and exterior operating companies along with the ladder worked to knock the fire down. With heavy fire still working from the rear fire fighters again pushed in from the rear porches to get inside and finally bring the last of the fire under control. No injuries were reported and no exposures were involved. The fire marshal was on scene to investigate the situation.
