Waterbury Fire

Waterbury Fire was alerted to this fire by a battalion chief on the road. THe threestory mixed occupancy which was several doors from Engine 7's quarters was showing heavy smoke from the first floor liquor store. he main body of fire was knocked down in 15 minutes but extensive overhaul and ventilation operations followed. Several occupants required Red Cross assistance for temporary shelter due to the fire damage to the upper residential floors.
