Waterbury fire fighter were dispatched to a structure fire in a single family dwelling just after midnight. First arriving police unit reported heavy smoke coming from the home and that all the occupants were out. As the first due engine stretched in, Truck 1 laddered the roof, and a ldh feeder was layed in from around the corner on Robinwood Rd. Rescue 9 completed the searches and rounded helped clear the family pets from the home. The fire was quickly knocked down but crews still had extensive overhaul and ventilation to complete. The fire marshal's office also responded to investigate the fire.
