Car vs Pole with Extrication Aurora St 12/31/11

Waterbury Fire Fighters responded to a single car vs pole MVA on Aurora St. Due to the patient's apparent injuries the roof and doors were removed from the car to allow safe extraction of the victim from the car while maintaining c-spine immobilization. The assignment included Engine 8, Rescue 9, Truck2 , and Car 5 as command. The patient was extricated and taken into the care of AMR medics for transport to the hospital. Note the patient's face has been intentionally masked for privacy reasons.
