Woodbury Volunteers received a call for a possible barn fire in the area of Sycamore and Good Hill Rds. The first arriving constable reported a fully involved barn fire. Crews arrived to find most of the structure consumed by the fire leaving an external defensive attack. A request for mutual aid was made to Roxbury for an Engine and Tanker to the scene and Southbury for an Engine and Tanker for station coverage. The fire was quickly knocked down and exposures spared from major damage but crews would have an extended overhaul and wetdown operation to prevent the possibility of a rekindle.
