Basement Fire 49 Hadley St 03/07/17
Watetown volunteers extinguish a smokey basement fire on Hadley St in the Oakville section of town. The fire filled the entire 2.5 story multi-family dwelling with smoke. When crews arrived heavy smoke was pushing from the roof. Luckily for the residents there was no fire damage on the 1st and 2nd floors. Firefighters were able to find a cat belonging to one of the residents, in good health, that was unaccounted for initially.
