Commercial Structure Fire 1200 Main St South Romatic Manufacturing 4/25/14

Southbury Volunteers respond to the report of a fire at Romatic Manufacturing 1200 Main St South in their town. They arrived to find heavy fire showing from the roof of the approximately 200x400 building. There were immediate concerns regarding the hazardous chemicals use as part of the maufacturing process at the company and whether they were in close proximity to the fire. Mutual aid from Sandy Hook, Oxford, and Woodbury responded to help battle the fire which took about an hour and a half to bring under control.
