Waterbury Fire Fighters make quick work of a fire in a 1.5 story private dwelling. The first due engine reported heavy smoke comping from what appeared to be the attic space. When the stretched in and opened up they found significant fire in the knee wall on the "a" side of the building with extension to the cock loft attic space. With the aggressive interior attack and ventilation of the roof by the truck the fire was quickly knocked down. Due o the smoke and water damage the occupants would be displaced for the night.
