Watertown Volunteer Fire

Structure FIre Northfield Rd 6/09/11

Watertown Volunteers make quick work of an attic fire in a 2.5 story wood farm house on Northfield Rd. Upon arrival flames could be seen from the eaves on he rear of the house. Due to a lack of a municipal water supply in the area a tankers from Morris and Thomaston were requested. Crews were able to quickly access the seat of the fire and knock it down before it could take off. The roof was opened for ventilation and an extensive overhaul performed. Another great save by the aggressive fire fighting tatics of the Watertown Volunteers. All occupants escaped the fire without incident and the fire marshal was on scene to investigate.
