Heating season is upon us with temps dropping into the 30's furnace issues will be starting. Watertown Volunteers make quick work of a furnace fire which charged the dwelling at 150 Edward Ave with heavy smoke. Withone line stretched in the fire was knocked down then fire fighters went to work opening the windows of the home to allow natural ventilation to clear the smoke. There was no extension of the fire to the first floor and all occupants exited the house safely. AMR and Watertown Fire first responders evaluated the residents of the home for exposure to the smoky enviroment.
